Hayden's 6th

Hayden got to celebrate his 6th birthday again! He got some great toys and spent the day pretty much keyed up. On of the more crazy gifts was this remote control motorcycle that Joy and I got him. It's really fast, really hard to control and really, really fun!

Serenity got in on the action as well. She'll have her party soon but she had to get some spoiling in from Grandma D and Grandpa T. Honestly, she was so intent on ripping the wrapping paper into the tiniest pieces possible that I don't think we really had to get her anything.

We got these sweet sparkle candles that WILL NOT BLOW OUT! Hayden almost had an attack trying.

Then there came one of Hayden's coolest toys. It's the new GI Joe toy and it's really cool. He comes with interchangeable gun parts that make different noises dependent on what is attached. I did have to try and explain to Hayden why GI Joe would need a buzz saw when fighting bad guys though. We decided it was to get through trees that might be in the way.

I tried to convince Hayden that GI Joe is a Air Force guy but he wasn't having it. Oh well, maybe someday he'll think that computer geeks are cool. I know they'll never get their own action figure though!

My book idea

I think that I am going to collect all the notes I get from Haydens teacher and put them together in a book entitled 'Parenting - A practical approach'

This next note that I get is going to be epic... I can just feel it!

Yeah, that's a werewolf tattoo. Hayden picked the location himself. Well, at least it'll make Monday interesting for him.

Just paid off the truck so...

I just paid off the truck so, of course, it had to start making a funny noise. I'm not a car-ologist, but I figure the problem has something to do with the... um... front of the truck. You know, somewhere near the engine-holding bay. I took a video so that my BIL (brother-in-law) can help figure it out for me.

The concept of making a quick video of the sound seemed great in theory. That was before I realized that I apparently get all epileptic whenever I carry a camera. For some reason the video cracks me up. So, if you want to try and help determine what is wrong with the blue bomber or you just want to laugh at all the sounds I have to make while climbing under the truck... enjoy!
